Please join us for the year’s first walk outside the city this Saturday at Stony Brook, Rockland County, NY.

Temperatures will be in the 90s, so bring lots and lots of water as well as lunch. Mosquitoes and ticks are out, make sure to protect yourself. Bring a paper bag or two to collect specimens for discussion and identification.

This walks is members-only.

If you’ve never been on a mushroom walk with us before, here’s what to expect.

Many members document their finds using the iNaturalist app – we highly recommend doing so.

We also recommend the free version of the AllTrails app to navigate trails and avoid getting lost. It’s available for iPhone and Android.

As a courtesy, please do not pick in the areas of scheduled club walks in the couple of weeks beforehand.
